Explore the Waimanalo Watershed
You’re invited to Explore the Waimānalo Watershed, this Saturday, October 4, 2014, a workshop about watershed health in Waimānalo. This workshop, geared towards Waimānalo residents and agricultural producers, includes the following topics and activities:
- Presentations about watershed function and impacts on water quality in Waimānalo
- Low impact development techniques such as rain gardens, riparian buffers, and rain catchment systems
- An educational ‘watershed hike’
- A delicious and healthy lunch provided by Sweet Home Waimānalo
